Message from the President

Satoshi Kobayashi
President and Representative Director,
Satoshi Kobayashi
My predecessor founded the company in Suwa, and later returned to his hometown to devote himself to manufacturing while establishing deep roots in the community. We are a company that specializes in circular parts. These parts are used in a wide range of applications, such as lens barrels, lens frames, and lens filters for cameras, as well as in semiconductors, automobiles, and space development. Furthermore, we provide proposals that meet the specific needs of our customers by utilizing the technology we have developed over many years.

In terms of production, over the course of our day-to-day work, we have strived to pursue “volume,” “precision,” and “potential,” in that order. However, the one thing that remains consistent is our commitment to ensuring a high level of quality. We have around ten types of inspection equipment, including heavy machinery. We operate in a world where tolerances are measured in thousandths of a millimeter. As a result, we are able to confidently deliver our products to the market while keeping pace with rapidly advancing technology and customer needs. Furthermore, in order to keep pace with the world of lenses, which requires even smaller units such as nanometers and angstroms, this pursuit will never end.

Currently, it is extremely difficult to train new craftspeople and pass on traditional techniques. With this in mind, our company places great emphasis on training and education. Rather than simply working within our confined world, we thoroughly implement the concept of confirming our position within the overall flow and working as a team to create products. We are also working to visualize parts of the process that were conventionally reliant on the experience of skilled craftspeople as a database, and use this as a basis for deriving optimal numerical values. We will continue to take on various challenges to carry the torch of the manufacturing industry into the future.
